NovaThreads are hypodermic needles that contain a PDO (polydioxanone) absorbable suture, used in the NovaLift procedure. PDO stimulates the collagen and it provides support to the skin. These sutures, used to perform surgeries such as open heart surgery, are one of the safest materials to be implanted in the body.

NovaThreads lift soft tissues in the face and neck in a simple in-office, noninvasive procedure. During your treatment, the threads are inserted in your skin with a needle, then pulled out. The threads then stay under your skin, where they stimulate your skin to create collagen. Your skin fully absorbs the threads within 4-6 months, leaving no scar tissue.
